I offer to make the weathering of your models, in 0 (1:43.5), 1:35 and Gn15 scales in narrow gauge only.

The weathering on the models is created using mainly water-based acrylic paints, but also oil paints and pigments.

The models are always protected by several coats of matt varnish.

All requests for weathering of our models or models placed in our care can be carried out within 3 months of the actual order date, depending on the workload planning.

​The weathering is priced on a fixed-rate basis and depends on the level of weathering you choose: "Light", "Medium" or "Heavy".

Locomotive weathering

Light : 50€

This "Light" weathering consists of a light ageing, corresponding to a relatively recent loco, which was put into service a few months ago, and which includes the passage of different washes in order to shade and contrast the structural lines and details of the model, some light rust scratches, a light dusting of the model, and some traces of oil or grease on the axleboxes or the connecting rods, and traces of fuel on the tank area or coal dust.

Medium : 90€

This 'Medium' weathering is medium, corresponding to an older loco, and is based on the same principles as the 'Light' weathering, but in a more pronounced and detailed way.

Heavy : 130€

This 'Heavy' weathering is based on the heavy weathering of very old, tired or even very tired equipment, as you wish, and is based on heavily chipped paintwork, with rust showing to a greater extent in several places. The same principles apply as for the 'Light' and 'Medium' patinas, but here with more in-depth and detailed levels of wear.

Rolling stock weathering

I propose the same principle for rolling stock, with the same levels of weathering.

Light : 25€

Medium : 45€

Heavy : 75€

 

The price of weathering does not include the price of the kit, only the weathering services.

All requests are subject to a prior estimate in line with the customer's requirements and wishes.

Weathering services can only begin once the quotation has been accepted and validated by the customer.

During the weathering work, the progress of the work will be regularly reviewed with the customer by means of e-mails accompanied by photos, as and when the weathering work progresses.
